Who Are We ?

Gesabakwa Elderly Care Initiative is an organization dedicated to improving the lives of elderly men and women in Kisii County. We focus on promoting empowerment through financial independence, social protection, and the development of sustainable community networks. Our mission is to help the elderly achieve self-reliance by providing them with the tools, knowledge, and resources to earn a living, save, lend, invest, and empower each other. Through our programs, we strive to build a strong sense of community, reduce poverty, and ensure that the elderly are not left behind in the development of the region.

Our Goal

To create a supportive environment where seniors are respected, actively engaged, and have access to the care and resources they need to thrive.

Our Mission

To support and uplift the lives of older adults in our community by providing accessible, compassionate and culturally sensitive care.

Our Vision

A vibrant, inclusive community where all older adults are empowered to age with dignity, purpose and connection.
